Navajo Stirling Wants to Accept Islam Makhachev’s Dagestan Training Offer
Undefeated UFC light heavyweight Navajo Stirling has expressed interest in accepting Islam Makhachev’s famous invitation to train in Dagestan.

Makhachev’s “send two-three years to Dagestan and forget” line became popular after he encouraged Daniel Cormier to send his son to Russia for wrestling training. Stirling, 28, said he would love to experience the Dagestani training culture, although he would prefer to start with two or three weeks rather than spending years there.

The New Zealander is 11-0 and has won all six of his UFC fights, including three straight by knockout. He is scheduled to headline UFC Qatar against former light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka on November 21 at the ABHA Arena in Doha.
