UFC 330: Makhachev Set for Welterweight Title Defense Against Garry
Islam Makhachev is set to put his UFC welterweight title on the line against Ian Machado Garry in the main event of UFC 330 on Saturday night in Philadelphia.
Makhachev enters the bout riding a 16-fight winning streak and is aiming to become one of the few UFC champions to successfully defend titles in two weight divisions.
Garry, meanwhile, has established himself as one of the division’s top contenders, boasting a 10-1 UFC record and looking to pull off the biggest victory of his career.
The co-main event will feature UFC strawweight champion Mackenzie Dern defending her title against Gillian Robertson, who comes into the fight on a five-fight winning streak.
Other notable fights on the card include Jalin Turner vs. Kaue Fernandes, Edson Barboza vs. Esteban Ribovics and Mansur Abdul-Malik vs. Dustin Stoltzfus.
UFC 330 takes place at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, with the main card scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. ET.
