Davido Makes Heartfelt Confession About His Marriage
Afrobeats star Davido has opened up about his marriage to Chioma, revealing that he speaks to his wife every day and cannot imagine life without her.
The singer made the emotional revelation during a livestream with popular streamer Davrel, where he reflected on the strong bond they have built over the years.
According to Davido, staying in touch with Chioma is a daily routine, no matter where his career takes him.
Describing her as an inseparable part of his life, the award-winning musician said he often calls his wife just to share funny memes, random moments or simply hear her voice.
“I talk to my wife every time, every day. She’s a part of me. I can’t live without her. Marry your best friend. Me, I love my wife,” he said.
Davido’s latest remarks come after a series of public gestures that have highlighted the couple’s relationship.
During a recent trip to Las Vegas, he treated Chioma to a romantic date and a shopping spree, while earlier this year he surprised her with a bouquet of flowers and, on Valentine’s Day, gifted her a luxury Hermès crocodile handbag alongside a heartfelt handwritten note.
The singer has also credited Chioma for being a major source of strength in his life.
In previous interviews, he said she encouraged him after his Grammy disappointment and has remained a positive influence on both his personal life and career.
He has equally praised her for embracing his children and supporting him through the demands of fame.
Davido and Chioma tied the knot in a white wedding ceremony in Miami on August 10, 2025.
The event attracted several high-profile guests, including business mogul Aliko Dangote, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, Obi Cubana, D’banj, Uche Jombo and Zlatan, among others.
