Du Plessis Ready for UFC Return: “I Hate Being a Loser”
Former UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis returns to action this weekend when he faces former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman in the main event of UFC Oklahoma City.

The South African is looking to bounce back after losing his middleweight title to Khamzat Chimaev, while Usman begins a full-time campaign in the middleweight division.
The main card is scheduled to begin at 2:00 a.m. (South Africa time) on Sunday, with Du Plessis expected to make his walk to the Octagon between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.

Speaking ahead of the fight, Du Plessis admitted his last defeat still motivates him. “You’re as good as your last fight, and right now, I’m a loser, and I hate being a loser. I’m going out there not just to win, but to do it in a way that makes people say, ‘This man is the best in the world,’” he said.
