FIFA Unveils New Ball Design for World Cup Semi-Finals and Final
FIFA has introduced a new-look match ball for the final four games of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including the two semi-finals, the third-place playoff and the final. While the ball features a fresh black, white and gold design, its structure and performance remain unchanged.

The special edition, called the Trionda Final, replaces the standard red, white, blue and green colour scheme used throughout the tournament. It also features the names of the host cities for the final four matchesâDallas, Atlanta, Miami and New York/New Jerseyâwhile other host cities are listed in smaller print.

The redesigned ball made its debut in Spain’s 2-0 semi-final victory over France and will also be used in the England versus Argentina semi-final, as well as the tournament’s remaining matches.

Like the original Trionda, it includes built-in sensor technology to assist match officials with key decisions during games.
