11 Dead, 27 Injured as Tour Bus Overturns in Turkey
At least 11 people have been killed and 27 others injured after a tour bus collided with a tow truck and overturned in western Turkey on Sunday morning. The crash occurred near the Akhisar highway entrance in Manisa province, along a major route connecting Bursa and Izmir.
Emergency responders, including firefighters, police officers and medical teams, rushed to the scene to rescue trapped passengers and provide urgent assistance. Officials from the Manisa Governor’s Office confirmed the deaths, while the injured survivors were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Authorities have closed parts of the highway as investigators examine the wreckage and work to establish the cause of the collision. The investigation will determine whether road conditions, mechanical failure or driver negligence contributed to the fatal crash.
